Richmond Pharmacology is the UK's largest Phase I and II Contract Research Organisation and the only one based within 2 University Teaching Hospitals – St George's Hospital, Tooting and Mayday Hospital in Croydon. Graduate Program in Clinical Research
12 months full time fixed term contract
Salary £17,400 - £18,400 plus shift allowance and benefits package
Join our popular graduate training program in clinical research.
Our 12 month graduate program will provide comprehensive basic training in all aspects of conducting clinical trials in patients and healthy volunteers. The training rotation is modular with work attachments spanning the whole breadth of this exciting profession. We are looking for life sciences graduates to join RPL’s graduate program in clinical research, which has been specifically designed to prepare those interested in a career in clinical project management or data project management.
You will be an enthusiastic and ambitious life sciences graduate with clear career aspirations. We look for good attention to detail, communication skills, flexibility and the will to succeed. You should have a good scientific background and aspire to the highest level of professionalism showing a genuine commitment and enthusiasm for clinical research and for the placements you undertake.

Clinical Trials Assistant (Japanese)

We are searching for an enthusiastic Japanese Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) looking for an opportunity to gain experience and grow within a well-structured research environment.
The role of the Clinical Trials Assistant is to support the Research Nurses and Physicians by assisting in the planning and conduct of clinical trial. This includes liaising with study volunteers -many of which are Japanese- and collaborators to facilitate the efficient running of the study, performing clinical tasks and maintaining records when a trial is in progress.
This post would suit someone with a science degree or a Nurse or Pharmacist (not necessarily registered in the UK) who is interested in a career in Clinical Research. Applicants should be fluent in English, both written and oral. Attention to detail, self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work well in a team are essential.

Research Laboratory Manager
Salary £30 - 35,000 per annum
Are you a natural leader and communicator, who gets a kick out of training and developing individuals according to their own personal learning styles?
We have an excellent opportunity for a unique and talented person with a science background, who is happy to manage a busy processing laboratory in a successful leading clinical trials unit.
You will have the overall responsibility and autonomy for the procurement of accurate processing, screening and shipment of clinical samples. The main focus of the job will be in the continuous training and development of a small team of well motivated high performing graduate trainees on a clinical research training rotation who will support you in providing an excellent laboratory service.
This is a challenging and rewarding role for someone confident in leading a team and in maintaining high service standards. You will need to have very well developed organisational skills, good communication skills, a professional and businesslike attitude, a meticulous approach and a very good eye for detail with a desire to perform and be recognized. You will receive full training so previous experience within the CRO industry or a laboratory is not a necessity.

Nursing Rotational Training Program in Clinical Research

We are looking for ambitious nurse professionals to join RPL’s research nurse training program in clinical research, specifically designed to prepare those interested in a career as a research nurse or in clinical project management.
Our two year nursing rotational training program will provide comprehensive basic training in all aspects of conducting clinical trials in patients and healthy volunteers. The training rotation is modular with work attachments spanning the whole breadth of this exciting profession.
You will have experience in A&E, Intensive Care or Acute Medicine and ideally need Grade G or higher nurse training. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is essential.

Clinical Research Physician
£45 - 55,000 plus full benefits package
Are you looking for an opportunity to work with the best medical specialists in their field, have direct input into clinical trials and be central to the success of a business?
We are offering a great position for an ambitious and enthusiastic fully GMC registered physician to obtain research experience in a dynamic commercial unit within a prestigious teaching hospital setting. You will join a great multi-disciplinary team of medical and scientific professionals and be actively involved in all aspects of planning and conducting clinical trials in various patient populations and healthy volunteers.
We are looking for a doctor with a minimum of three years experience in either A&E, acute medicine, anaesthesia or a combination thereof. You will need to be flexible and well organised, have excellent attention to detail and be committed to developing your career. Fluency in English, both oral and written, is essential. A good sense of humour and a team spirit would be very welcome.
