QTc studies

Over the past decade, a number of drugs have been shown to prolong cardiac repolarisation (seen as prolongation of the QT interval). Consequently, QTc studies have become of paramount importance to the pharmaceutical industry. The combination of 100-bed capacity, a sophisticated data capture system and expert analysis enables Richmond Pharmacology to provide the UK's definitive QTc study set up. Each bed has a dedicated bed side MAC 1200 12-lead ECG machine, connected via a dedicated network to a MUSE CV server running the latest version GE-Marquette MUSE software. This system is fully FDA CFR 21 Part 11 compliant. Richmond Pharmacology's corporate offices are located within the Department of Cardiological Sciences at St George's Hospital and maintain a working relationship with Professors Camm and Malik (worldwide opinion leaders in Cardiological Analysis). The cardiological sciences team have direct access to the ECG data captured during the Study via our secure MUSE client terminal, enabling the analysis of ECG data on site by highly respected and experienced cardiologists.
