Sandra Johnson BSC
Director of Commercial Project Management

Sandra Johnson – who joined Richmond Pharmacology in September 2022 - will be responsible for heading up both the Commercial Project Management and Clinical Project Management teams, as Director of Commercial Project Management responsible for project delivery.

Bringing over 20 years of experience in the life science sector, including at Roche and Novartis, Sandra has an extensive understanding of clinical trials. During her time at Medicines for Malaria Venture, she was Director for Outsourcing & Relationship Management, a role in which she oversaw the delivery of clinical trials outsourced to Contract Research Organisations (CROs) around the world.  

Up until recently, Sandra was on the leadership team of the Global Health Clinical Consortium a group of non-profit organisations and CROs dedicated to best practice clinical trial execution in low- and middle-income countries along with the Vice Chair of the Pharmaceutical Contracts Management Group (PCMG). She is a founding member of the Global Clinical Site Accreditation Global Advisory Board. Sandra graduated from the University of Surrey with a BSc (Hons).
