Patrick Ramiah leads Richmond Pharmacology’s clinical project delivery and operational excellence functions, ensuring studies are conducted with precision, compliance, and clarity. He is responsible for embedding robust, efficient processes across the organisation, managing operational performance, and enabling multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality clinical trials.

A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with over 22 years of experience in continuous improvement, Patrick has been championing Richmond’s adoption of Lean Six Sigma principles to strengthen its culture of operational excellence. He has led initiatives that optimise workflows, improve functional handovers, and translate governance into practical, day-to-day delivery. His approach combines rigorous, data-driven performance management with hands-on coaching, enabling consistency, speed, and quality across the project lifecycle.

Since joining Richmond in 2023, Patrick’s leadership has been instrumental in advancing the organisation’s readiness to deliver complex, cross-functional studies. He emphasises risk-based planning, clear roles and responsibilities, and transparent metrics to ensure timelines, resources, and quality standards remain aligned from start-up through to close-out.
