2006 – healthy and special population recruitment success

In the last 6 months we have successfully recruited 100% of our healthy and special populations in to trials on time.Since January 2006 we have included over 800 subjects into a variety of healthy volunteer and patient trials:

  • 200+ healthy volunteers for ongoing QTc studies
  • 45+ Japanese volunteers for bridging studies
  • 180+ volunteers aged 60 to 85 for elderly studies
  • Post menopausal under the age of 55
  • Slow metabolisers
  • Obese
  • Low weight

2006 – patient recruitment success

The past year has also been an exciting time for our patient populations. Consultants from St George's University of London and Mayday University Hospital have assisted in the recruitment process by referring their patients to Richmond Pharmacology. As a clinical trial site our patient recruitment timelines are in line with industry standards and in some indications we are exceeding recruitment rates consistently. We have successfully recruited numerous patient volunteers for Phase II–IV studies, which include:

  • End Stage Renal Impairment (subjects on dialysis)
  • GORD
  • Asthma
  • Diabetes
  • Over Active Bladder
  • Hypertension
