Significant work has been undertaken to push forward the launch of a new apprentice scheme aimed at raising the profile of this high-level occupation.
The proposed new scheme was led by the Clinical Pharmacology Skills Alliance (CPSA), a group comprising the British Pharmacological Society, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine (FPM) and Health Education England (HEE).
The apprenticeship seeks to address the current shortfall in skilled clinical pharmacologists practising in the UK health sector and boost awareness of the profession.Read the full article
