Richmond’s new clinical pharmacology unit is based in the Atkinson Morley’s Hospital, Copse Hill, Wimbledon.
The New Unit in Town
Atkinson Morley’s hospital is part of St George’s Hospital and it is hailed as one of the most respected university teaching hospitals.Based in an active acute NHS hospital, Richmond enjoys the cover of the hospital’s 24 hour emergency team. The unit is located just one floor above the hospital’s intensive care unit which provides an excellent back up to the safe study environment Richmond has created.Dr Ulrike Lorch’s previous employment in the anaesthetic department of the Atkinson Morley’s Hospital has given the Richmond clinical team access to the different departments as well as the facilities within the hospital.
