John Hotti

John is a commercially focused technology executive with more than 35 years of experience leading technology, data and digital transformation programmes across healthcare, Software as a Service (SaaS), financial services and enterprise technology organisations.

As Chief Technology Officer at Richmond Pharmacology, John is responsible for the organisation's technology and data strategy, overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, software engineering and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. His focus is on delivering secure, scalable and resilient platforms that enhance operational performance, strengthen regulatory compliance and support the delivery of high-quality clinical research.

Prior to joining Richmond, John held a range of board-level leadership roles, including CTO, CIO and Head of AI positions, where he led large-scale transformation programmes, cloud modernisation initiatives, cybersecurity improvements and AI strategy development across highly regulated environments. Throughout his career, he has worked with organisations ranging from global enterprises and investor-backed businesses to growing technology companies, helping them improve resilience, accelerate innovation and achieve sustainable growth.  

John combines deep technical expertise with commercial leadership experience and is passionate about using technology, data and AI responsibly to improve business performance and support better outcomes for customers, partners and patients.
